Alexander House - Stylish Study

Originally, the room was a walk-in wardrobe that led off from the master bedroom. I decided to convert it into a study that could also double as a single guest bedroom. This provided my client with the added benefit of offering a study on holiday let platforms while also utilizing the space for additional guests if needed.

The design of the study reflected the style and vibe of the rest of the property but with a twist - a floor-to-ceiling landscape mural that wrapped around the entire room. I sourced an antique captain's desk and incorporated vintage pieces to complete the overall look of the space, giving guests a gentleman’s study vibe when staying at the property.

To allow the study to double up as an additional bedroom, I incorporated a horizontal Murphy bed that folds away behind a pair of lush velvet curtains when not in use.
