Mulberry House - Living Room

The living room was the first thing you saw as you entered the property at Mulberry House. Originally, it was a dark, drab, and an uninviting space as soon as you stepped inside, which felt odd with the abundant natural light streaming in. Despite the impressive vaulted beam ceiling, the surrounding wooden doors distracted from this architectural beauty.

To transform the space, I reimagined it to reflect the client’s wishes for an elegant, homely, and inviting atmosphere. A neutral colour palette was chosen to enhance the natural light while allowing the rich textures of wood, glass, and stone to take centre stage. The imposing brick fireplace became a striking focal point, where the entertainment space was seamlessly integrated, offering a stylish centrepiece for gatherings.

Incorporating soft, plush furnishings in muted tones created an elegant yet relaxed environment, complemented by different textures, accessories, family collectables and a stunning statement beaded chandelier in the centre of the room.

The result is a beautiful living area where modern elegance meets rustic charm—an inviting retreat that feels both luxurious and welcoming.
