Alexander House - Kitchen & Dining Area

Originally, the kitchen consisted of two rooms - the breakfast room and kitchen when it operated as a bed & breakfast. It was clear the space had potential, but it was in need of a total redesign to be able to accommodate up to 13 guests.

To achieve a modern, yet vintage feel to the kitchen that would complement the rest of the house, it was decided to knock the kitchen through into the breakfast room to create one large, open plan kitchen/dining area. This completely transformed what was once a tired and outdated space into a calm, contemporary heart of the home. Designed with both functionality and elegance in mind, the new kitchen reflects a modern style while still complementing the home’s Victorian character.
